I think I may be the victim of predatory lending practices by GE Money, but I don't know what to do about it. I am ashamed to admit it, but I know very little about money. When I got my GE Money Bank Card to purchase a ring, it seemed like I should only have to pay about 100/month and that I could remove the balance over time this way. But it turns out I somehow ended up with a 29% interest rate. Now I owe them a bunch of money, I have lost my job and apartment, and they keep calling me for the money.
