When I purchased my car a loan was made to Sovereign Bank by the dealer. At that time it seemed ok. I made over a years worth of payments ontime and I got sick and fell one month behind. I wrote them a letter explaining my situation and saying that I could catch up within a couple of months or could make extra monthly payments to catch up. I never got a reply. However within a week I got a notice that Sovereign had been bought out by Sandtander (international Bank) and that my payments would be sent to then at a another address (Texas).
