The telephone line coming to the the phone pole in front of our home was severed and lying in the street. The service to our telephone and fax lines ceased. After wading through Verizon's 800 number repair service, we were informed that the repair could not be scheduled for 5 days or until next Tuesday, by 6 pm. THE REPAIR WAS CALLED IN TODAY-FRIDAY ABOUT NOON. Apparently, Verizon is so short staffed for repair work, it will take 5 DAYS for them to fix the the line. They were nonchalant about the line being in the road, and suggested we contact the police to remove the line from the road. read full review »
