We were the 3rd of 3 homes built in our subdivision before the builder went under. Our 8-10 month build time stretched to 18 months and we still had to fight to close at that time. Though they did not file for bankruptcy, we were told that they would provide labor for our warranty, but we would have to pay costs out of pocket. They did a couple things, but we had to contact the contractors directly and only the tile company and the HVAC company worked with us.
