I tried refinancing with Lend America back in June. The first guy I dealt with said everything looked good, not to make my August payment on my current mortgage and not to pay my taxes, that we would be closing during the month of August. After a couple of weeks of him not returning my phone calls or emails, I contacted someone else at Lend America, who informed me that they let the guy go.
