I ordered goods from Toys R Us online and was horrified to be charged a "remote & rural surcharge" of £5.00 on top of normal delivery charge of £4.95. I use internet shopping frequently and this is the first time I have been charged this surcharge. Even more surprising is that I live in Aberdeen, well linked by air, rail and road.
