I purchased 3 Bamboo Shades for my patio to block the heat of the sun. When we installed one, we found it to be useless for this purpose because the slats were to wide apart allowing lots of sunshine to pass through. I took them back to Garden Ridge to EXCHANGE them for another style I had seen. I was told that since they were opened I could neither return or exchange them even though I had a receipt.
