I contacted Bank of America in good faith to advise them of a fraud email, I was talked into applying for rewards card. By doing this I had to agree to a Hard Credit Check, this gave BOA authorization to check my credit. This is a set up deal so they can get a complete review of your credit report and your personal information. I advised them that my Experian report and the other 2 agencies had mixed my deceased father's accounts, he died 11 years ago, in with my name and SS#.
