I have a Kenmore gas range that was purchased at the end of 2005. Yesterday the glass door to the oven shattered into a million + peices for no apparent reason. There was no one in the kitchen at the time, and the oven had not been on all day, so it wasn't that someone hit it or that the oven was hot. A phone call to Sears was fruitless. After being transfered 3 times, I still had no answers other than they could send a tech out to the tune of $129.00. Why? I already know the glass is shattered and that it needs to be replaced.
