I just received a faxed estimate to install vinyl flooring in a 12'x12' kitchen and I just about passed out. How can a company justify charging $1, 932.92 to install a vinyl floor? With $1, 500.00+ of this going for labor, are they nuts? The average yearly wage in Amsterdam is 40k, so I would have to work 100 hours (before taxes or 3 weeks after taxes) to lay down a piece of vinyl in a small kitchen? I would like my $35.00 deposit refunded as I feel that I was misled that the project was affordable and that they wanted to do the work. read full review »
