I posted here before, actually last night or early morning hours, about the unfair practices that Chase Bank has been deligently applying upon it's customers lately. Chase Bank is deliberately ruining peoples' credit! They bought out WAMU, then went around closing the accounts without notice. I had a WAMU acct in good standing and was making my payments on time on all of my credit cards, suddenly chase came and reduced the limit to what was owed on the account and raised my interest rate to over 30%. As a result of that action, my other creditors lowered limits on my cards.
