I was a few hundred thousand dollars in debt a few years ago, and got a call one day from some guy at a company called Lifeguard Financial. They were supposed to help me out with my debt settlement. Anyway, this guy I was speaking to was first of all, extremely obnoxious, and secondly, very pushy. But with a two year old son, and a daughter on the way, I couldn't afford to be picky.
