I am a traveling nuclear worker, my family and/or I spend several months/year away from our home. For the last 3 years, we have spent the winter months in California. We let Consumers know this each time and we cut our utilities back to a minimum. This usually costs $40 or $50/month. Every year, we get a bill for one of those months for hundreds of dollars.
