For those with issues with Bank of America. When I had issues with my recently re-financed mortgage with them, one of their alleged "customer service" people gave me some erroneous, made up info. It had to do with my location's tax bills. Anyway, the person at the state's office told me that the Office of the Controller of the Currency oversees banking activities at national banks.
