My 92 yr old Mother was in perfect health until suffering a TAI in Jan 08. It caused her to move in with us which is fine. I love taking care of my Mother, however, Bankers gave her a long term health care plan in '97 with in home care. Today I called and they said 'not true; only if she is in a nursing home! And then I'd have to pay out of pocket the first 3 months!! I want at home assistance and they will not provide and the cost would be less. They have ripped her off, lied to her and taken advantage.
