I bought a 10 lb bag of carrots from Costco. When I got it home I weighed it on my kitchen scale because I divide it to share with someone else. I kept getting that it was only 9 pounds. I weighed something else on the scale to insure that my scale was acurate. and it was. I called Costco. They told me that they would replace the bag. To bring it back to them.
