I see all the Kaplan complaints, hopefully an attorney will see them as well and initiate a class action suit. I attended this "school' for about 30 days. I did an exit interview which they did not submit even though I called direct loan myself, they now sent me an app for an exit interview. I returned the books unused and never began any of these classes I know it is standard practice for them, but not for me. I recently enrolled in Kaplan only to find out that almost everything said to get me to enroll was not true also I watched 4 movies rented from blockbuster I have no idea how' the hangover ' would relate to medical coding and billin or hearing stories about the instuctors god son exposing himself would further my education. also the grading is random if you challenge any thing you will soon regret it, after 5 hours of class you are then sent home to read 1 or more chapters and then will be tested. I have a land line with verizon, after about a month, they opened an internet account on my bill (I do not have a computer). After calling they gave another name and service address for the account. Said they'd reconcile the bill. Instead the added a 75.00 early termination fee. each month bill me for late fees and interest on over 400.00. I also saw in the newspaper locally that someone had a fraudulent account opened in their name. It is on my credit and I think there are enough people out there to file a class action!! read full review »
