I contracted Lantz to repair the collapsed foundation under the porch of a house I was purchasing. I was informed by Steve Lantz that they did not normally work as far north as my home but that he had 2 men working out of a nearby town that could do the work. They came out and gave a reasonable estimate and I OK'd the bid and had them start work. There were several occasions when they did not show up when scheduled or necessary work was not getting done. After paying around $90 a month for Frontier which was bundled with a phone line that I never used, I decided to try out Wild Blue since it was half the price and didn't require a phone line. Thank God I didn't immediately cancel Frontier! After a week of miserable response times, frozen PC, and sudden disconnects I called Wild Blue to cancel my service. They refused to cancel without having a technician come out to look at it, and told me that if I did cancel I would still have to pay them $345 for the contract period.
