My mom uses CVS. Her doctor wrote her a prescription for lets say 50 mg instead of 25 mg and told my mom to cut them in half to save her some money as she is on a fixed income and the medicine is expensive. The pharmacy charged her double because my mom was breaking them in half as per the instructions on the bottle. Isn't this against the law??? I wonder what the pharmacist would do if they went to a restaurant and ordered a meal and took half of it home for the next day and they got charged double??? Hmmmm food for thought.
