I smoke Basic Menthol 100 cigarettes and have noticed that they do not stay lit if I put one down in the ashtray for even a short period of time. This just started a month ago or so. My son told me that the manufacturer has changed the paper used and it will go out if you're not smoking it constantly. I have to relight my cigarette at least 3 times while I'm smoking it and when I relight it, I have come close to setting my hair on fire as the end of the cigarette now flames up when you relight it.
