I took my car in for its MOT which it failed on a few minor issues. I took the car to an external garage to get the parts fixed so that i could get it back in time to take advantage of the free re-test within a 48 hour period. The car was fixed the next day and was ready to have the re-test carried out on it, but when i called up to book the car in, they were too busy to look at it and informed me that it would have to be the day after, rendering the free 48 hour period useless.
