I needed the water supply line coming from my wall to the toilet tank replaced. Because they said their line would not work with the shut-off valve I had, they also replaced it. It took the plumber all of 5 minutes to replace the line and valve and they charged me $371.00. After doing some research, I found the flexable water supply line for $10.oo and the shut-off valve for $5.00. While there was a $60.00 dispatch charge, adding that up with the cost of the supplies is $75.00. Are you telling me that plumbers are making $296.00 an hour now?!
