American Van Lines is an awful company to have move your furniture. They way they are structured, they hire an independent or third party mover and pay them. They have storage sites and when it is convenient for them to ship in a certain direction, they do so. After giving us a move in date of 07/28 we waited patiently for our furniture to arrive. It never came, they never called. It simply didn't show up. After calling them and being on hold for at least an hour we were told our furniture was in storage over 1, 200 miles away.
