Stainsafe is indeed a scam. I bought a leather sofa and loveseat from Value City Furniture in Indianapolis on 6/6/08. On 11/20/09 we noticed a rip on the side of the sofa seat that was caused by a nail protruding from the sofa frame. I called up Stainsafe and after 20 minutes on the phone with a claim rep they told me the claim is not serviceable since the damage is due to a manufacturing defect and is not covered.
