On August 24th, 2009 my home was broken into while I was in bed trying to sleep. I heard the loud sound of shattering glass. As I was alone and without any weapons, I patiently and quietly waited in bed for the robber to leave the house so I could then escape or go get the cellphone that I had left in my dining room earlier that evening.
