In November 2008 I was contacted by Gekko Properties who were acting as agents for Chris Long of Long Investments and offered some deals on investment properties. I had already dealt with Gekko and they still manage a property for me so I deemed the deals to be sound. I checked out six properties and paid a reservation fee of £1000 on each one to Gekko who immediately forwarded the money to Chris Long.
