One simple suggestion " Just Avoid Air France !!!" I have been making international travels quite a number of times by a number of Airlines in last 6 years. But AirFrance is the first horrible experience. I will try to be short. They had overbooked the flight we (myself & my wife) were supposed to fly. That was a connecting flight on my way to India from USA.
