A work colleague of mine had the misfortune of using Denver Metro Taxi for a three mile cab trip. The tab for the trip was about $10. The driver added an additional $100 to the fare. Upon calling the company -- Michael Hart, the manager of street operations (whatever that is) was abusive and threatening. The company did NOTHING to rectify the problem. Fortunately, the bank was very cooperative and very aware of this common scam by Metro Taxi of Denver. If you use Denver Metro Taxi, make certain you DO NOT use a credit or debit card. You are setting yourself up for theft -- theft which is condoned by the management of Denver Metro Taxi. read full review »
