I am an installer for Hughes Net. when I started it was decent honest job. I was recently informed that we (installers) are no longer allowed to tell customers about upgrades when we go to repair a satellite. What the means for you is that if you have an older satellite ( pre 9000 series), I am required to fix it, at your cost, before even mentioning the new sat.
