I have never had a problem writing checks...ANYWHERE!! I spent over 3 hours shopping at the Target Store in Florissant, Mo., this evening. My total was over $200. Since my debt card was in my bag and I didn't feel like digging for it, I wrote a check; they refused to take my check! I asked the cashier to run it again, and the same thing happened.
