It has now been 3 weeks since I faxed and sent by registered mail, proof of the mortgage payment that I made in October and that they say that I didn't. Since I had not received any kind of acknowledgment that they received the check (front and back), I telephoned customer no-service, getting transferred 5 times from department to department. I finally reached Irene, who looked up my account. She said that they did receive the check, but did not receive the payment. What kind of sense does that make?
