I bought a new HD TV in December 2006 and was offered a $300 discount if I signed up with Directv satellite service for a year. Thought it sounded like a good deal and only a year committment, so I signed up. BIG Mistake, I have had nothing but problems with my service and instead of one year contract they tricked me into a 2 year contract that I did not learn about until later.
