For 6 years I have avoided flying on United Airline s. In 2001 I was booked on a flight out of Denver to New Orleans. My 26 year old daughter lived in New Orleans and had suffered a brain anuerysm and was dying. I borded the plane with my son, hoping to get to New Orleans before she was gone. We got on the plane and the announcement came over the plane speeker that they could not take off because the plane was to heavy and there was a problem with the landing gear.
