Got a call tonight from Portfolio Recovery saying that I owed 2K on a credit card that is closed and paid off from like 6 years ago! I just bought a house and I have great credit but this guy tried to say I still owed on this card...what a scam! I saw something on nightline or 20 20 about these scam set ups...they try and get you to wire money somewhere. Anyways I hung up on his ass and told him to have a nice day.
