Called and spoke with Rick Tawfeek about repairing our 51" projection TV. The converter chip had gone out and the colors appeared to be in 3D. He told me that it is normal in projection TV's and he could fix it. The going rate is about $250 to make the repair but offered me a deal if I paid cash. After Rick came to the house and replaced the chip the television seemed to work fine.
