On October 14th, 2008 an application was submitted using my personal information for a Sallie Mae Signature Loan. I was notified of the pull on my credit on October 18th, via TrueCredit monitoring service. I immediately placed freezes on my credit files and starting contacting SallieMae. Sallie Mae has refused to admit any wrongdoing. They state that they spoke with a person in the financial aid office who stated that I was personally in the office on October 14th, but this was not humanly possible.
