After a major billing problem which I thought was resolved - and kept snowballing, I closed my account with an agreed last payment amount. I mailed the payment off - and low an behold - they reported me to a collection agency. Then to make matters even worse - after I had paid them the final agreed amount - they turned around and sent me another bill.
