My wife and I have been with Harleysville National Bank for approximately fifteen years. I have held car loans, home loans, personal loans and checking accounts with them during this time frame. I recently canceled my home owners insurance policy and was issued a refund check. The refund check had my name and my wifes MAIDEN name on the check. I attempted to deposit the check and was told by HNB that they could not honor the check because the name is not on the account.
