I purchased a ticket with CheapOAir in December 2008. I was unable to use the ticket due to a death and had to cancel my travel plans. Upon trying to make a new reservation (willing to pay penalty) I was told the ticket was not valid. After calling customer service for two days (on hold for one and one half hours the first day) and talking to two customer service representatives: Angelo and Travis who sounded suspeciously the same, I was told by Angelo the reservation did not exist.
