I was told by the salesperson at Need4digital.com that the battery that comes with Nikon D3000 (which is only sold as a kit in the U.S.) is “only good for 30 minutes, ” while they one they would be sending me is “good for 5 hours.” I have since learned that the battery sent by Need4digital.com is the same battery that comes with the Nikon kit sold everywhere.
