I made an online purchase from Red Envelope in August and also thought the "rewards" service was a 'free' service and then was charged, first $1.95, then $14.95 each month until I happened to notice it on my bank statement. I called them and complained and was issued an immediate cancellation and was told all the charges would be credited back to my bank account. Unbelievable what these companies will do!!
