On 12/14/09 we recieved a letter from NCE stating that the State of NY had issues orders that American Medical Life Insurance Co., the insurance company that underwites the health plan, will discontinue offering it's insurance to members that reside in the State of New York, effective 1/1/2010. My complaint is that this is not adequate notice! There must be statutory non-renewal -and/or cancellation provisions governing this type of action.
