Priority Mail isn't priority with USPS. After repeated mailings of boxes sent priority with USPS during the holidays the past 2 years, I ve found that boxes will sit in the point of shipment office for 48 or more hours before being shipped, delivery being after the appointed holiday, Christmas, being delivered on the 6th and 7th days...not 72 or even 96 hours after I present them at the counter of the main post office (which totes its packages directly to the airport only 2 miles away).
