In August I had to send some aquamarines in matirx (mineral specimens) back to a consigner in Peshawar, Pakistan. I opened an account with Fed Ex for this shipment and future, using a credit card to pay. I was told the cost would be about $400 on the phone, and I was offered a one time discount which would make it $175, which was connected to a number they gave me to give to the receiving employee of Fed Ex.
