I received a letter in the mail today with a check for $4995.00. It said I had won $250, 000.00 and this $4995.00 was to assist in paying the taxes on the winnings. I showed this to my wife and we called the phone number on the letter. A woman answered, at first she just said hello and I asked if this was Gold Star and she said yes.
