I applied to be a Mystery Shoper on Craig's List. (Someone should notify them). I got a letter from Research Union Inc. stating they wanted to give me an assignment for training purposes. Enclosed was a check for $990 made out to me. I was instructed to cash it and go to a WalMart or MoneyGram and wire $870 back to them to a fictitious name with my last name.
