I have been trying to work with HFC concerning a side loan that they made to me when I refinanced my mortgage. For several years all was well until my mother fell ill with cancer which unfortunately was not one that responded to traditional chemotherapy. Instead she needed a special type of therapy that carried a co-pay of 1400 dollars per dose. My mother lived with me on social security so what could I do but pay the money.
