In 2004 I was called by a UoP counselor. I knew I wanted to continue my education but didn't think I could manage it or afford it. I was told I wouldn't have to worry because I could get a grant. I agreed to take a single class to see if I could manage. 3 weeks later my son beca, e ill and I withdrew. Again, I was told I wouldn't have to pay anything. 4.5 years later I get a bad account by California Student Aid/EdFund/CSA/ACS/College Loan reported on my credit report dropping my score 80 points.
