Holy crap! I lost my job in June 2009. Called Chase. After going through Collections, the 1 month behind department, the 2 month behind department the 3 month behind department, something called the loan mitigation department and finally the loan modification department that would actually speak with me department I finally got into a trial loan modification program for three months of lowered payments starting in September.
