See if you can understand this...We are adopting a child and one of the many things we need is a letter on letterhead from our bank simply stating that our accounts are in "good standing", signed and notorized. That's it! They said that they CAN"T do that. They told me that they can not give me anything on letterhead??? We have been banking there for 15 or more years, they hold our mortgage AND just lent us $50, 000.00 to adopt but they can't give us a letter that simple.
